Erin Essenmacher serves as the chief programming officer for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), responsible for content curation, oversight and execution of more than 60 virtual and brick and mortar education programs and events a year. Essenmacher is also an award-winning writer, director, and producer with nearly 20 years of experience in broadcast and non-broadcast production. She has written, directed, and produced films for PBS, The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, the History Channel, and Court TV, and produced and co-wrote the critically acclaimed independent documentary MINE. She is the former chair of the board of Women in Film and Video and is serves on the board of Gandhi Brigade.

Maureen is CEO of Conners Consulting and a Board Director at Fashion Incubator SF. She is a former Board Director at Deckers Brands (NYSE: DECK), where she chaired two committees: Compensation and Nominating/Governance. Her background is in marketing at Gillette (P&G), Levi’s, and Mattel, where she helped launch many new products and increased shareholder value. She advises CEO’s and boards on strategy and new technologies for increasing global growth. Ms. Conners has spoken about the implications of major new technologies at The NACD CES Experience and Deloitte’s Board Director Symposium. Her article on The Innovation Era’s Implications for Boards was recently published in NACD Directorship magazine. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Smithsonian Libraries.

Ayse McCracken, CPA, MBA, President, eNNOVATE Health Ventures LLC serves as a business advisor providing strategic guidance to CEOs, and executive teams in health systems, medical group practices, and digital health start ups. Her projects typically include intra-preneurial initiatives within established organizations operating in “build” modes as well as creating strategies for young companies entering markets, developing new products and services, and acquiring clients. Ayse is an advisor to TMCx and recently founded IGNITE Healthcare Network an association of executive women interested in shaping the future of healthcare.
Her past roles have included Senior Vice President of Texas Children’s Hospital and President of Texas Children’s Pediatrics; Senior Vice President of The Methodist Hospital and COO of The Methodist Hospital Physician Organization; and CEO of Memorial Hermann Medical Group. She has also held roles in venture-backed companies, most recently as President, Houston Market and first VP, Finance Omega Health Systems.
Ayse is a frequent presenter on topics of healthcare innovation, integration strategy, and finance most recently presenting a lecture titled “From Academia to Shark Tank” to the VA Quality Scholars Institute. She also participated in a research study with Dr. Vivian Ho the chair in health economics at the institute and director of the Center for Health and Bioscience. It resulted in a publication this past January titled “Study: Shift to tighter physician-hospital integration is more complex than expected.”
