Carol SingletonSlade, based in Houston, leads the Global Energy Practice, working across the whole energy value chain with a focus on upstream operators and services. Carol is a trusted advisor to global energy organizations at the board and C-level, providing counsel in CEO succession and board effectiveness and working as a strategic partner to fill critical technical and operational leadership roles. Carol leads Egon Zehnder’s US Board Practice and is also active in Egon Zehnder’s CEO and Industrial Practices.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Carol started her career in technical exploration as a geophysicist working with BP, Hess and BG moving into broader regional exploration leadership roles. She then was the commercial lead for exploration in Alaska with Arco before moving into corporate strategy and financial advisory.
Carol earned a BS in Physics from Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, an MS in Geophysics from Durham University, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Carol is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Dennis is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of WuHoover & Co., LLP, a professional CPA firm. Before WuHoover he had a 37-year career at Deloitte & Touche and was the founding national partner of Deloitte's Chinese Services Group and also served in numerous other Managing Partner roles including Deloitte's Financial Services Industry Group in Northern California. He also led numerous diversity projects and was one of five national leaders for the firm's diversity initiative. Dennis is the Chair of the Board of Recology and previously served on two NASDAQ listed companies. He is also the Chair of the San Francisco Chapter of the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association (APAPA) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Committee of 100, a national organization of prominent Chinese Americans. Dennis is a former president of the Commonwealth Club of California and the Berkeley HAAS Alumni Association.
Amy Nelson is the president of Greenridge Advisors, LLC, an energy services and equipment consulting firm, which she founded in 2007. Greenridge advises clients on strategy development, capital allocation, acquisition evaluation and infrastructure development. Prior to founding Greenridge, Ms. Nelson spent seven years with SCF Partners, an oilfield services focused private equity firm, where she invested in and advised numerous oilfield service and equipment companies. Ms. Nelson began her career with Amoco Production Company, and held various planning, project management and engineering roles.
She currently serves on the board of directors of Apache Corporation, Enercorp Sand Solutions, and the NACD TriCities Chapter.
Ms. Nelson holds bachelor's degrees in engineering and economics from Rice University and a Master in Business Administration with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
