William McCracken Elected Vice Chair of NACD Board of Directors
Globe Newswire (June 13) reports that the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) on Wednesday announced that William "Bill" McCracken has been elected vice chair of the NACD's board of directors, effective immediately. McCracken served as CEO of CA Technologies from January 2010 to January 2013, is currently the president of Executive Consulting Group LLC, and serves on the board of MDU Resources Group. "McCracken was named by NACD Directorship magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the boardroom in 2009," the wire service recalls, "and in 2010 he was named to the NACD board." He was a member of the NACD Blue Ribbon Commission (BRC) on risk governance, co-chaired the BRC on board diversity, and also co-chaired the BRC on the board and long-term value creation.
