David "Dave" Hood - MODERATOR

David Hood has served as Troux’s Chief Executive Officer and Director since August 2007. David brings more than 30 years of technology experience in a diverse set of leadership roles with a wide range of firms including AT&T, Cisco, Dell, BeVocal and most recently NetSolve. Leading the company’s strategic direction, planning and execution, David is responsible for accelerating Troux’s growth and advancing Troux’s position as the industry leader in IT and business transformation.
Prior to joining Troux, David served as CEO of NetSolve from 2002 until the company was acquired by Cisco in 2004. David remained with Cisco as General Manager of the NetSolve division. At NetSolve, he established the company as the leading provider of IT infrastructure management services, materially increasing revenue and market value. Previously, David was CEO of BeVocal, a voice recognition software startup in Mountain View, CA. Executive positions at Dell and AT&T round out David’s experience in developing and managing technology companies.
David holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Finance from Xavier College. He is also a Director on the board of Entrepreneurs Foundation and Boundless Network.
Joe Cunningham, MD
Founding Partner and Managing Director, Sante Ventures
Joe Cunningham is a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Santé Ventures, an early stage life science and healthcare venture capital company based in Austin, Texas. Prior to this Joe was a healthcare Venture Partner with Austin Ventures and was previously the Vice Chair of the Ascension Health Ventures investment committee. He is also the former Chief Medical Officer of the Providence Health System and Executive Director of the 300-physician Providence Health Alliance, both of which belong to the Ascension Health system. He has extensive management experience and is recognized nationally for his expertise in healthcare delivery systems, physician associations and compensation models. Joe serves on Advisory Boards for both United Healthcare and for Health Services Corporation (BC/BS). He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Quality Assurance and Peer Review. Dr. Cunningham received his BS and MD degrees from Texas A&M University and his MBA from Baylor University.

Joel Trammell is a serial entrepreneur who is currently Chairman of the Austin Technology Council and a co-founder and managing partner of Lone Rock Technology Group. His leadership as a CEO has resulted in successful nine-figure acquisitions by two Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Austin-based Cache IQ, a storage software company he co-founded in 2010, was acquired by NetApp in November 2012.
In 1999, Joel co-founded NetQoS and led it to become one of the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S. With a customer base including more than half of the Fortune 100, NetQoS was the leader in application-centric network management. CA Technologies acquired the company in 2009, generating more than 10x return on capital to its private equity investors.
Prior to NetQoS, Joel held executive positions at UST Computers and HomeSmart, a company that he co-founded to provide sales and marketing products for the residential construction industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University and is a former instructor at the Naval Nuclear Power School.
